For two decades, Nicholas has built a successful career directing and editing commercials while simultaneously pursuing his passion for filmmaking. Working across Sydney, New York, and San Francisco, he has crafted both advertising campaigns and independent films, including shorts and features.
His work has screened at prestigious festivals worldwide, including the Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, Fantasia, and Sitges. Both of his features were acquired by Magnolia Pictures for theatrical distribution.
His directorial debut, "The Perfect Host," starring Emmy Award-winner David Hyde Pierce ("Frasier"), premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to screen at Sitges. His follow-up feature, "What You Wish For," starring Nick Stahl ("Terminator 3"), premiered at Fantasia International Film Festival before its U.S. debut at Fantastic Fest.
